Did he have a wife, children? he didn't reveal much personal information, but everyone liked him I'm not surprised that BP didn't offer any personal info. I am his partner. We were together 20 years. im very sorry thats a shock. I didn't know the guy, but he was online for a long time....... * csmoll (~csmoll@camel.ethereal.net) has joined #Macintosh I'm going to drink for Mr. BratPrinc He was on home hospice from April 2 to April 27 - a character to the end * aaaaFord (aaaaFord@67.71.159.39) has joined #macintosh hello :-) anyone around? we're here, but in mourning ah i see i very much admired his sense of humor * aaaaFord (aaaaFord@67.71.159.39) has left #Macintosh I couldn't turn off his computer until he was gone. I'd hear him typing away in the middle of the night chatting to you all. is this serious? ... wow aren't you near Baltimore? We live in Cockeysville, about 10 miles north of Baltimore. Yeah... I moved out here in September. He suggested a few places to try. Like Cafe Hon, near my house. thanks xyzzy. Everyone - feel free to email me at kwalkmd@hotmail.com. I think I have a photo of him on my computer. i'd like to see a photo of him - he was always so secretive and never shared one with us indeed Luckily he left the chat screen up - one of my last tributes to him bratty! ilsa, no yes... no read back, ilsa i'll miss his "going to flea" stories yeah and armadillos beanie babies and his gazillion printers xyzzy - BP told me once he had an IQ of 160 - he was very intelligent his room looks like a computer store yeah, i realize he was gazillion monitors and old apple CPU's!! * shagoth (~shagoth@narita.samespace.com) has joined #Macintosh feel free to come here and chat with us anytime ow, i feel like i've lost a dear friend -- despite the whole never having met thing Gah. This is awful. xyzzy - I would but I'm woefully lacking in ircle skills BP was buried with an amardillo, a platpus and an anteater (his new found interest!!) * shagoth raises an eyebrow. Yeah he always talked about armadillos and platypusses.. i didnt know if he kept real ones as pets or just liked collecting things with their likeness Nelluk, we'll have to carry on the tradition of calling you a twit. He would want that :) oooh, indeed yeah, i was BratPrinc's punching bag :) What conflict was he a veteran of? funny story - when hospice came in they were expecting platpuses running around the place and I thought, no wonder they sent a social worker - she probably expected the place to be a mess! heh, the idea that there would be live platypuses running around is an amusing image all by itself * Tobeyy (~Harris@pcp01347372pcs.lowmrn01.pa.comcast.net) has left #Macintosh indeed ilsa who is bratprinc was an op DanB_ shagoth - he served during the Vietnam war but was stationed in Okinawa (sp?) lived in SF playing the part of a flower child for a while! he always found something at the flea markets - and our place reflects that! Wasn't happy until he found something to buy. It's so weird, knowing somebody for a decade and only fleshing out the pieces after he's gone. i knew brat since AOL mtreal - WOW, that's been a while back! yup yup. ages and ages ago. BP's first computer was a Kaypro - back in '84. * xyzzy vaguely remembers those Kaypro's only had 5K memory. KayPros were technically portable under the "it has a handle" definition ahh sorry to hear it, but glad he was spirited thru it BratPrinc on google returns quite a bit I'll be signing off now - thanks for chatting. Thanks for remembering BP (Allen) with me. Again, email me at kwalkmd@hotmail.com if you'd like. take care thank you for telling us * BratPrinc (~thump@pcp08471403pcs.towson01.md.comcast.net) Quit
